The major areas of clinical expertise include the treatment of shoulder, knee, hand and spinal injuries, as well as the treatment of balance, dizziness, and neurological disorders. Manual therapy treatments, and implementation of customized patient programs are the hallmark of the practice.

Who is presenting at the workshop:
Amy was raised in Lancaster, PA. She graduated from James Madison University in 1998 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance and Spanish. She then attended Widener University, where she graduated with a Master's degree in Physical Therapy in 2002. She continued her education at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences, graduating with a Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy in 2008.
Amy has expertise in providing care to performing arts, specifically dancers, musicians, and figure skaters. For about 8 years, she was the lead physical therapist for The Washington Ballet, located in Washington, DC. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) as well as the Performing Arts Special Interest Group within the Orthopedic Section of the APTA. She specializes in therapeutic techniques including manipulation and mobilization of the spine, temporomandibular joint, and extremities. She also has a certification in Pilates which she utilizes when teaching patients about core control and strength.
Amy resides in Lancaster, PA with her husband, Jonathan, and their five children. When she can find some free time, she enjoys reading.
